Foodie Thursday: Doggie Pancakes
Another sweet recipe from Sweet Paul's Blog! If you love pancakes as much as I do, I am sure your dog will love them too. I will try this delicious recipe for tomorrow's breakfast and my dog Winnie will get crazy with it.
Makes about 15 - 1 cup buckwheat flour - 4 tablespoons corn flour - 1 teaspoon baking powder - 1 cup buttermilk - 4 tablespoons milk - 1 large egg
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until smooth.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, heat a small amount of butter (to coat) and cook each pancake about 1 minute on each side.
- (For bone-shaped pancakes, just pour the batter into a bone-shaped cookie cutter.)
- Cool and serve. Can be frozen.
If you want to try these pancakes, just add 4 tablespoons of sugar to the mix. Enjoy!

Wednesdays with Winnie: Beauty Day
"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous." - Coco Chanel
Today was haircut day for Winnie. She really needed it, she looked like a bear! Now she looks beautiful and fresh. I tried to take a picture at the Vet/Grooming place but she just wanted to run to the car. She loves rides. These are pictures that I took at home.
At the Vet., I saw two precious doggies. This is "Lola".
And this is "Mateo". Both dogs live at the same home and they love each other.
Does your dog like to go with the groomers?
Zoruyo: A story of Love
There are too many stray dogs around the world, in every country and it is not easy that they can find a home. But this time, one of those angels found a family. I saw him walking lonely around a park, and before I could start thinking how could I help, he disappeared. I just wished he was fine.
Some days after, I saw the black doggie inside a fenced water treatment plant inside my mom's neighborhood. I wondered if he was there by mistake and I got him some food and water. It was late and there was no one to call.
The next morning, I got great news! The man in charge of the water treatment plant adopted him. He got the dog a bed, brought food every day and a neighbor got him a cute pink collar. The man was waiting for the dog to get used to be with him and not afraid of people. After some days living at the plant, the man took the dog to his new home. His new name is "Zoruyo" I am so glad this story had a Happy Ending!
